1. How do I set up an account with Seniram?

After determining what type of account you would like either fill out our online signup form or mail, e-mail, or fax us your address, phone number, fax numbers, e-mail address, and the name of your company or organization.

Be sure to also specify which account you desire and payment options (check or credit card).

You will also need to either register a new domain or transfer a domain to our nameservers.

We do have a web mail interface, not only for administration, but for checking your mail as well.

3. Will you install SSL certificates?

Yes, we will install your SSL certificate, and if you don't have a SSL certificate for your site we can help you get one of your own as well.

4. Would you explain a little more about Basic and Enhanced accounts don't have unique IP addresses and how that works?

New webservers use something called "host headers". This allow us to use one IP to operate more than one website. DNS is still done the same way as before but the webserver sorts out which site to display based on the information the client browser is looking for.

A static IP is included in our Business and Developer accounts. Otherwise it is $10/month.

Yes, we back up the web servers every 48 hours and SQL Server daily.

12. What names are allowed to be registered?

Your 3rd level domain name can be no longer than 16 alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers). Hyphens ("-") may also be used, but cannot begin or end your domain name. Spaces and special characters, such as exclamation points and underscores, are not permitted.

13. What is your policy on spam?

Spam is considered to be any unsolicited email advertising. Seniram has a Zero Tolerance Policy toward spam, which means simply that any Seniram client who sends out unsolicited commercial email will have their account here terminated per our service agreement.
